Valentine’s Day is generally considered to be a day of love and romance, but what is it to you? Is it a day that’s filled with love and thoughts of love? Is it a day of sharing a scared love? Or, is it a day of celebrating a loved one regardless of who it may be? In today’s society, almost everyone acknowledges this day…from children in school to the elderly it’s a day of showing love. What is love? Here is my realization of love: Lover suffers long (It doesn’t throw us away at the first mistake we make). Love is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not call attention to itself. Love is not puffed up, Love does not behave itself unseemly. Love does not seek her own, but reaches out to others. Love is not easily provoked. Love thinks no evil, but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, endures all things, Love never fails. How do you relate to love? Oftentimes, Valentine’s Day is celebrated by giving or receiving cards, candy and occasionally flowers. Make it more exciting this year. Let your love be known by the gift you give. Tell me your definition of love for someone you care about, and allow me to write a poem for you that would be exclusive to that person from your own description. It will be a Valentine’s Day gift that is different, lasting and unique. Be sure to check out my website for the opportunity to celebrate your loved one on this very special day; in an unforgettable way.
